1960`s floor lamp with 6 Brutalist glass shades & 6 lights by Kaiser Lighting, Germany.
Thoroughly cleaned, newly rewired, in full working order and ready to install. Light bulbs included.
This floor lamp is a good Modernist example of German Brutalist Design balanced with traditional elegance.
This sculptural vintage lamp has a light appearance yet sturdy with its elegant curved iron work & clear quality icicle glass shades. The clean form and neutral materials makes this lamp well suited for a range of decors including Mid-Century Modern, Minimalist, Industrial or Contemporary.
The black iron frame has 6 arms from a tripod base. There is elegant brass details at the feet and holding each glass shade. Each arm is topped with 6 removable Brutalist glass shades textured
to reflect the light.
Each glass shade is held securely in place
by a metal screw attachment
to the lamp holder. There is a decorative textured rope cord with brass baubles around the neck of the iron frame.
Carries 6 standard E14 small screw light bulbs up to 40 Watts each. At present fitted with Pigmy clear bulbs of 15 Watts which are included in the price. There is a floor pedal switch on the cable.
Original antique patina on the iron frame in line with age adding character.
All 6 glass shades are in excellent condition.
For safe transport packing is offered free of charge. Each glass shade would be removed and wrapped individually in bubble wrap and paper; together they would be boxed. The frame would be bubble wrapped and covered in card.
Each glass shade has a height of 12 cm and a diameter of 13 cm.
