1970`s travertine lamp, sculptural Surrealist masks in travertine & brass, 1970`s ca,
France. Large decorative vintage table lamp consisting of a travertine rectangular base with three ceramic masks each suspended on brass rods at different heights creating a surrealist effect. Carries the original vintage gold laminated lampshade with a light diffuser at the top. Golden light is cascaded downwards creating dramatic shadows around the masks. Each 1970`s lamp takes one standard big screw light bulb up to 100 Watts. Newly rewired with a cord switch and in full working order. All the lamp is in very good vintage condition with only some patina and minor wear on the shade in line with age.
The dimensions of the lampshade alone are: H: 34.5 cm, and diameter 40 cm.
The dimensions of the lamp base alone are: H: 60 cm, W: 23 cm, Depth: 24 cm
Each individual mask has the dimensions: H: 18.5 cm, W: 12 cm, Depth: 7 cm.
