These Modernist nesting tables have fun bamboo effect black metallic frames with brass angular corners. The original tinted glass tops complete the smoky & sultry look.
These vintage side tables would be a practical addition to a range of interior schemes such as Traditional, Modernist, Hollywood Regency, 70’s retro or Contemporary.
Looking closely at the metal frames there is subtle detailing all around. There is a faux bamboo effect such as the stems & nodes which keeps the design `gentle` & `elegant`. The gilt brass on the corners `lightens` the effect. The feet are nicely finished at the bottom by a circular metal trim adding stability to the piece. The frames are of substantial weight.
The original tops are smoked glass in an elegant shade of sage colour. These tops sit securely within the metal frames, suspended in each corner on a brass extension of the corner. The original rubber stoppers are present holding each top in place.
This set of vintage nest of tables is in very good condition, with the original clear lacquer present on the surface of the metals and only tiny marks in line with age & wear. All the original black rubber stoppers on the feet are present and prevent scuff marks.
They sell as a set together. The price is for the set of 3.
Packing & wrapping is offered free of charge. The glass tops would be wrapped in both bubble wrap & card. The frames would be bubble wrapped with a top layer of stretch-wrap for safe transport.
