Brass flowers ceiling/wall light in the style of designer Willy Daro manufactured by `Massive Lighting`, 1970`s ca, Belgian.
Thoroughly cleaned respecting the vintage patina, newly rewired & earthed. It is in full working order & ready to use. Light bulbs included.
This large sculptural light consists of a trio of brass flowers on a bar & circular base of the same finish.
The sculptural design in quality textured brass would suit a range of interiors such as Art Deco, Traditional, Hollywood Regency, Minimalist or Contemporary.
Each individual flower is made up of 6 quality cast naturalistic textured leaves. The golden tone reflects a warm light creating depth & interesting reflections.
The centre of each light is finished playfully with a brass lamp holder perfect for a decorative Gold Crown light bulb as in the photographs. These bulbs reflect the light on the frame which enhances the texture & mood.
Each `flower` separates into two sections; each with a central ring with 3 leaves, together they stack to create a flower with 6 leaves. The top outer ring is cleverly designed for the stem of the leaves to overlap the lower ring thereby adding stability and creating a continuous form. These parts of the flowers are held together by a metal ring that screws at the top of the brass lamp holder.
Each individual light carries 1 standard large screw light bulb E27 up to 60 watts. This light is presently fitted with Gold Crown light bulbs of 60 Watts, as photographed. These bulbs are included in this price. Replacements are easy to purchase in most lighting shops or over the internet. Alternatively it is possible to use any other E27 light bulb shapes. A photograph of this light with clear filament bulbs serves as an example of a more subtle look.
This light can work as a ceiling or wall light. The assembly and fitting to the ceiling or wall is simple; a metal bracket screws sideways to the circular frame. The bracket has 2 holes itself through which it is screwed to the ceiling/wall.
The quality plated metal frame is in very good condition with the original warm antique patina present in line with age, adding character.

We take special professional care while packing. For safe transport t
he petals would be separated. The parts would be bubble wrapped and boxed. This piece could easily be posted in the mail.

Massive Lighting or `Lustrerie Massive` was founded in 1926 in Belgium. For much of its history the company was family run and in 2000 was honoured as `the best lamp producer of the year`. Massive Lighting was known for high quality and original designs which vary between Classic and Modernist styles. In 2008 the company became part of Phillips Corporation.
