Filigree lamp in the
Art Deco style, 1930`s ca, France. This unique decorative vintage table lamp consists of delicate scrolling metal gilt filigree on the lamp shades and base. Each lamp shade has the filigree on the four sides such that the decoration is applied against a black metal background on opposite sides and against a white celluloid background on the other two sides allowing light through creating an attractive silluete. The frame is composed of two glass columns on an iron scrolling square base. The glass columns are made up of several thin glass rods, all in excellent condition, grouped together by a round brass disc. This filigree light carries two small screw standard light bulbs up to 40 Watts each and is presently fitted with pygmy clear light bulbs, but could fit another shape. The lamp has been newly rewired and is in full working order and ready to use, with a switch on the cable. The lamp is in very good vintage condition with an attractive antique patina on the metal giving character. The glass rods are all in excellent condition.
