Flower wall light, consisting of 24 glass flowers on gold gilt base by Ernst Palme 1970`s, Germany.

This sculptural wall light is in the playful form of a bouquet of glass flowers. Each flower has textured leaves and is securely screwed in place with a gilt plated nut which also serves to finish the flower at the center. The gilt plate reflects a warm light and screws in place through three holes which are hidden under the flowers. This piece could also serve as a ceiling light. Carries 5 small screw light bulbs (E14) up to 40 Watts each. Newly rewired, full working order and ready to use. All the glass flowers are in perfect condition and the plate has a warm patina achieved over the years. 

The diameter of each glass flower is 9cm.

Ernst Palme Lighting History

Founded in 1747, Palme Chandeliers is one of the oldest chandelier manufacturing company in the world. Originally based in North Bohemia, the center of the art of glass industry, the company worked to commissions for the royal courts. By the turn of the 20th century requests came in from other prestigious building and hotels. In 1945, the Chandelier factory was nationalized by the Government of Czechoslovakia, and consequently, the German owner and his workers immigrated to Germany where the company is based today.
