Gaetano Sciolari vintage brass 18 light Pistillo candelabra floor lamp, 1970`s ca, Italy. This nature inspired floor lamp is a rare example and follows the lines of the Pistillino lamp designed in 1969 by Studio Tetrarch for Valenti Italy. The quality polished brass tubular frame consist of three graduated and concentric rows of lights with arms curving upwards, each arm finished at the end with a brass cylinder holding inside a light bulb. The three rows of lights supported by brass disc surfaces join the main column, which finishes at the top with a solid brass ball. This floor lamp is very solid, and stands on a circular weighted base. Decorative and simple design but with lots of quality detailing. Carries 18 standard small screw light bulbs up to 40 Watts each. Photographed with frosted candle light bulbs but could take other types for a different look. Floor switch. Rewired and in full working order. Very good condition with a light patina in line with age.
Diameter of the base is 31 cm
