Lucite, wood & smoked glass round coffee table with rattan shelf, 1970`s ca, Denmark.
This table is a combination of minimal translucent contemporary materials, such as Lucite, with some ethnic influence like a rattan wooden shelf. This creates an attractive contrast of textures and materials, fitting in well with the African Deco look much in vogue today. The frame consists of 8 perspex sculptural Lucite legs in a shade of amber with wooden joints. These legs supporting a round smoked brown glass top. The wooden shelf is designed as a removable tray with a rattan edge. This is a good size coffee table that could work also as a side table. The frame and glass top are in good condition consistent with age, with no cracks or chips,only very minor slight crazing on the edge of the glass.

The shelf from the floor is height: 10.5 cm.
The thickness of the glass is 1.2 cm.
