Muller & Zimmer began production of lights in Stuttgart Germany in the 1930`s. With the colaboration of early pioneers like designer Otto Muller, of Bauhaus principles, their designs have always been functional and useful while still being artistically original. Classic product line designs are Sistrah in 1932, achieving maximum brightness and total glare at extremely rational energy utilization.  A "Universalgeleucht" that enables the user to cover with a small number of product types a variety of lighting problems. The export brand "Megaphos" was used. Today the company focuses mostly on bespoke lighting for Museums and the exhibition market.
