Paris House London jewellery, pair of gold plated gilt earrings, 1950`s, England.

Inspired by Japanese wisteria, this unique pair of vintage earrings capture the post war fascination with the exotic.

From a series of 5 milky green beads dangle a collection of several gold plated gilt ball chains creating the effect of wisteria. The jade green beads are wired in placed and topped with a gold plated gilt filigree cover and a minute clear glass bead.

These clip on earrings have fully working clasps which could easily be converted into studs. Each is stamped on the back `Paris House Ltd London`. Both in very good condition with only a bit of rubbing to the gilt on a couple of the filigree covers in line with age. Gift box included.

Paris House London Jewellery History

Paris House was created by Cohus Paris in 1934. There were few post war English jewellery makers and Paris House items are particularly rare.
