Raak wall lights `Chartres`, attributed to Willem van Oyen Sr, 1970`s ca, Holland. This pair of Brutalist 1970`s wall lights consist of a glass panel with clear, red & green rock crystals finished with glass granules characteristic of the work of glass artist Willem van Oyen Sr. Each panel slides into a solid quality brass frame creating a composition which reflect a warm light. The triangular shape of the arms on the brass base adds depth to the composition. Each wall light takes two small standard screw light bulbs up to 40 Watts each. At the top of the brass frame there are two holes where the fixture can be screwed to the wall. In good vintage condition in line with age with some attractive patina on the brass adding character. One corner of one of the glass panels has been slightly rubbed over time, hardly visible. Both lights newly rewired and in full working order.
