Romeo Rega console & mirror, chrome & brass, 1970`s ca, Italy. 

In this Modernist vintage console table & wall mirror attributed to Romeo Rega, the unique combination of quality polished chrome & solid brass with clear glass and mirror, brings warmth and richness to the design. In the console table,  the rectangular frame design consists of a square section chrome frame with a solid brass trim along the sides (front & 2 lateral ones) and front legs. An additional brass trim on the top of the frame, where the glass top sits, adds depth to the design.  The thickness of the clear glass is 0.8 cm. The elegant good size rectangular mirror matches the console`s materials & design. A polished chrome frame is surrounded with a brass trim in a very sculptural way: the original silver colour bevelled mirrored surface is fitted onto a back brass frame that screws by brass arms to the main frame. The top of the mirror frame has at the back a hole to fit to the wall.  It is rare to find a vintage set of Rega console table and wall mirror together, as antique dealers tend to sell them often separate.  Both pieces are in very good vintage condition with a warm aged patina on the brass adding character.
