Trifari sail fish brooch gold wash, imitation pearl and black enamel by Norman Bel Geddes, 1960`s ca, USA. The large top sail fin is covered in black enamel along with a black enamel tail fin with red rhinestones covering the area above the tail fin. The head is accented by red rhinestones as well as a green glass cabochon for the eye. The center body is made up of a grey faux baroque pearl which adds depth and quality. Stamped Trifari with the crown over the `T` & copyright logo on the fin suggesting post 1955. It is based on a design from 1941 by Norman Bel Geddes. This is featured in Judith Miller (2010). Very good condition.
