Yves Saint Laurent compact makeup mirror gold plated gilt with YSL logo & monogram velvet sleeve, 1980`s ca, French.
At the focal point of this vintage compact mirror is the YSL logo. With the mirror below showing through the design is simple & elegant.
Finished in a matte gold satin finish, the YSL logo is in highly polished gold plated gilt. The logo is attached to a similarly polished
circular
frame which sits within the case. There is a mixture of gold & silver tones when the silver mirror below shines through.
When open the iconic YSL logo takes on a different form.
Inside the original mirror is slightly bevelled completing the design.
When opened the compact lies flat, there is no spring hinge. There is a magnet closure.
The compact weighs 116 grams.
Comes with the original black velvet pouch which has YSL logo on the lower right hand corner.
In very good vintage condition with only minor rubbing to the gold gilt near the hinge & along the edge as might be expected for this age. The velvet pouch has some rubbing to the velvet in line with age.
Gift box included.
This compact when packed in the gift box could be easily posted in the mailed insured.
