Zevi vintage brass, chrome & glass square coffee table, 1970`s ca, Italy. A chrome sculptural quality frame with detail of brass banding and a smoked glass insert top. The glass top is removable and sits on a brass surround that reflects the light and adds depth to the design. Detailed cube pattern in each corner which is characteristic for Zevi. Quality detail at the bottom of the legs where the brass & chrome banding finish on a brass flat plate. Nice elegant proportions and large size table however it would work equally well as a corner or side piece.
The chrome is in very good condition and the brass has a slight tarnished patina in line with the age which gives character to the piece. The smoked glass top is the original and casts a warm shade of brown. The glass is in good condition with no chips or major scratches and only a very tiny
crazing to the glass (photographed) in one corner, not visible as the glass inserts into the frame.
